Sylvan Thirty serves as a major hub in the West Dallas community, offering restaurants, retail, lofts, an organic grocer, and an Italian market with offerings of fresh produce, artisanal breads, and brick oven pizzas. A full slate of regularly programmed and impromptu events, community activities, and farmer’s markets activate the central “green” and spine of the development, designed in such a way to close off vehicular traffic during such occasions. Site design features also include permeable parking areas and a central vegetated bioswale to assist with filtering and reducing stormwater discharge. Several outdoor seating areas spill onto larger landscape zones, ensuring interplay between venues.
