FLITE ACRES
Set in a wooded, sixty acre site above the Blanco River valley, this home is tucked discreetly below the tree line, minimizing tree removal and commanding views of the surrounding valley. A main terrace stretches from the home to embrace an infinity edge swimming pool that reflects the tree line and provides a foundation for the valley view. The terrace is supported by a foundation constructed from salvaged limestone boulders excavated during the home’s construction. Native plantings enhance the site in an intentionally restrained way, deriving all of their necessary irrigation from harvested rainwater.
